CIHR-ICR and CSEB Awards in Cancer Epidemiology and Biostatistics

The Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CSEB) is partnering with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research – Institute of Cancer Research (CIHR-ICR) to collectively recognize the outstanding achievements, leadership, and contributions of cancer researchers across Canada through CIHR-ICR’s newly established Sponsorship Awards Program.

The CIHR-ICR and CSEB Awards in Cancer Epidemiology and Biostatistics target key gaps and high-priority needs within the cancer research landscape. Epidemiology and biostatistics are foundational pillars of cancer research because they provide the population-level evidence needed to understand, prevent, and control cancer, answering the “who, what, where, why, and how” of cancer research. These joint awards acknowledge research that guides public health priorities and health system resource allocation, improves population-level cancer prevention and control, and advances statistical methods to study both the risk factors and the effects of cancer treatments and outcomes.

Four Awards Avaiable!
