Call for Conference Papers in the Canadian Journal of Public Health and Canadian Journal of Statistics for CSEB 2025 Presenters
Call for conference papers in the Canadian Journal of Public Health – Special Section on Epidemiology and Biostatistics
The Canadian Society for Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CSEB) and the Canadian Journal of Public Health (CJPH), once again, are pleased to invite presenters from the CSEB Biennial National Conference, held in Montreal, Quebec, August 11-13, 2025, to submit a manuscript for consideration in an upcoming issue of the CJPH. Manuscripts based on the research presented in a CSEB poster or oral presentation are eligible for consideration in a special section of CJPH devoted to epidemiology and biostatistics.
Submitted manuscripts following an editorial review will undergo expedited peer review for consideration of publication. The Editor-in-Chief of the CJPH acknowledges the quality of papers by choosing in each issue one to two articles that are outstanding with respect to scientific quality and public health relevance. These Editor’s Choice articles are published with free access for two months. CJPH Editors expect to select at least one Editor’s Choice article from the special section.
Manuscripts must be submitted by October 15, 2025 on the CJPH site. Please consult the CJPH Instructions for Authors.
The Canadian Journal of Public Health is dedicated to fostering excellence in public health research, scholarship, policy and practice. Published by Springer, the aim of the Journal is to advance public health research and practice in Canada and around the world, thus contributing to the improvement of the health of populations and the reduction of health inequalities.
CJPH publishes original research and scholarly articles submitted in either English or French.
Guest editors will include Nazeem Muhajarine, CJPH, and a few guest editors from the CSEB.
Call for conference papers in the Canadian Journal of Statistics - Section on Applications and Case Studies
The CSEB is pleased to partner with the Canadian Journal of Statistics (CJS) to invite submissions of conference papers from presenters at the CSEB Biennial National Conference, held in Montreal, Quebec, August 11-13, 2025 to the journal’s Applications and Case Studies section. This new section is dedicated to innovative contributions that advance statistical practice and bridge the gap between research and practice in statistics. Manuscripts based on the research presented in a CSEB poster or oral presentation are eligible for consideration.
Dr. Jinko Graham, Editor of Applications and Case Studies, welcomes submissions for peer review that align with the section’s focus on:
- Case studies that highlight the practical use of statistical methods in new contexts.
- Innovative applications of existing methods that deepen our understanding of subject-matter science.
- Evaluations of statistical methods applied in novel contexts.
- Accessible descriptions of new software tools or data resources that enhance the application of statistical methods.
Manuscripts must be submitted by October 15, 2025.
